
After eighteen years experience in the insurance industry as an underwriter, consultant, and sales manager, Emily founded Selling Strategies. During her insurance career, she developed expertise in sales training, customer service training, and management coaching strategies. She is nationally recognized as a speaker and consultant who helps clients achieve results. Emily has the gift to move people to action. Emily earned the CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation in 1991 from the Society of CIC and the CMC (Certified Management Consultant) designation in 1997 from the Institute of Management Consultants.
Emily is an active member of National Speakers Association, Institute of Management Consultants, and NAPSLO. She serves on the national faculty of the Society of CIC. Her articles appear nationally in publications including Independent Agent magazine and Rough Notes.
Emily and her husband, John White, live in Terrell, NC, north of Charlotte. They love to travel, play golf, and spend a lot of time in the kitchen cooking and baking. Ask Emily how she met her perfect husband on the Internet and she’ll be happy to tell you their tale of serendipity.
